Seattle City Council, March 18, 2019, The Full City Council Began Affordable Housing Ordinance Hearing

This is the Seattle City Council from March 18, 2019 as it began its full council meeting at 2:PM that afternoon. The council chamber was packed to capacity by Seattle residents. During the meeting that day, the council voted on and unanimously passed its "Mandatory Housing Affordability" (MHA) ordinance. The MHA ordinance includes rules that govern the manner in which housing developers may development land in various areas around Seattle.
