Studio 2.8, Seattle Protests, Black Lives Matter, George Floyd, May 30, 2020, Woman With Can You Breathe Poster
This Studio 2.8 photography photograph was produced in the rain on the afternoon of Saturday May 30, 2020, a rainy day with dark gray skies, during the huge racial justice political demonstrations held in downtown Seattle, Washington on that day. In this Studio 2.8 photography photo a woman who wore a pink knit cap and a pink surgical style mask over her mouth held a large poster with the phrase "Can you Breathe" on it. The woman's large poster with the phrase "Can You Breathe" had a white background with large 1970s hippie style pink and orange sherbet colored letters painted on it. The woman who marched holding her "Can You Breathe" poster in her right hand, also held her small light brown canine companion in her left hand, nestled on her left elbow, as she and the thousands strong march progressed southward along 5th Avenue just south of Virginia Street, as they walked beneath the Seattle monorail trestles, with the crowd headed toward Westlake Park at 4th Avenue and Pine Street.
