Studio 2.8, Seattle Protests, Black Lives Matter, George Floyd, May 30, 2020, Stop Killing Black People Sign Black Background With White Letters
This Studio 2.8 photography photograph was produced during the late afternoon of Saturday May 30, 2020, in the pouring rain, at the huge racial justice political demonstration held in downtown Seattle, Washington that day, after the first portion of the demonstrations, when rioting had begun after the Seattle Police had unleashed tear gas bombs, ear drum shattering "flashbang" grenade explosives, and volleys of pepper spray on demonstrators, as the Seattle Police attacked them, attacked demonstrators who had until then been peaceful. In this Studio 2.8 photography photo, in the midst of angry rioting by Seattle residents who had begun to destroy Seattle Police SUVs that were parked along Pine Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue, a demonstrator had the sign in this photograph high, which had the phrase "STOP KILLING BLACK PEOPLE" on it in large white letters against a black background along with the hash tag #ICantBreathe on it as well.
