Among the people and groups who counter-protested the "Liberty or Death 2" press honesty rally held by the Washington Three Percent in downtown Seattle on December 1, 2018 was a Marxist political group called the "Party for Socialism and Liberation". According to the Marxist group's website at pslweb.org, and the group's multiple linked sub-websites, the group advocates a "theory and practice of revolutionary Marxism"(sic). The banner displayed in Seattle on Decembeer 1, 2018 by the "Party for Socialism Liberation" group read "right racism with solidarity ... fight capitalism with socialism". Among the notable traits of the banners the Marxist groups displayed was their use of the word "socialism" and their avoidance of the word "communism", although their websites advocate and espouse "Revolutionary Marxist" (sic) ideology.
